Know Anything? Man Flees After Gunpoint Robbery On Long Island

Police are on the lookout for a man who they say committed an armed robbery at a Long Island gas station and ran from the scene.

The incident occurred on Thursday, May 23 in Uniondale, Nassau County Police Department.

At about 7:45 p.m. that evening, a man walked into the Conoco gas station, located at 1198 Front Street.

He approached an employee and pulled out a handgun, demanding money, authorities said.

After getting cash from the employee, the robber ran from the scene.

Police described the suspect as a Black man who stands between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-9. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a blue vest, and a mask.

No injuries were reported.
